Professor John Snowden

Professor Snowden has published around 400 clinical and scientific articles, reviews and book chapters, and led on key national and international clinical guidelines.
Professor Snowden has helped to pioneer autologous haematopoietic stem cell therapy for autoimmune diseases, including defining its role in multiple sclerosis (MS) and is co-chief investigator for the UK NIHR funded STAR-MS trial.

Professor Snowden highly values the indispensable support of patient voices, including the AIMS charity, to advancing the research agenda not only to answer important clinical and scientific questions in the field, but also to secure equitable access and funded health service delivery to appropriate patients with MS.
